Saturday is D-Day for Longwood when our Intermediate Footballers travel to Ratoath to tackle table-toppers St Patrick's in the final round of group games.

It's a relatively novel pairing as the teams haven't crossed swords very often in recent years.

Longwood will be looking for a positive reaction having suffered a disappointing defeat in the previous round, and we can be sure that the boys will leave everything on the field as they look to deliver a performance that will give them a fighting chance of moving forward in the championship.

Referee Adrian Corcoran will throw the ball in at 5:00 p.m.
