This week saw the announcement of the Regional Championship All Stars and we are delighted to say that our own Moyfenragh region was strongly represented.

Eoin Griffin (Clann Na nGael), Brendan McKeon (Ballivor), Danny Dixon (Boardsmill) and Longwood's very own Sean Coloe were all selected and deservedly so.

Moyfenragh performed incredibly well throughout the championship and but for a late and fortuitous Boyne Valley goal in the final, would have taken home the cup.

Well done to all the players selected on the All Stars but a special word of congratulations to Sean.

As well as being an incredibly talented dual player, Sean is a real leader on the pitch and an inspiration to his team mates.

He performed to a consistently high level throughout the regional championship, racking up many scores from play in every game. Sean shone even brighter in the final, kicking three fabulous points from his midfield position and he couldn't have done more for his team as they came agonisingly close to glory.

Sean thoroughly deserves his All Star and all associated with Longwood GAA are rightly proud of his achievement.
