Sunday next, October 8th, is very much D-Day for Longwood's Intermediate Footballers.

Performance matters little, it's all about the result. Nothing less than a win will suffice as Longwood look to secure their Intermediate status for 2024. The stakes could scarcely be higher.

Despite producing a number of creditable performances in this year's championship, victory has so far eluded the boys. That will all be forgotten on Sunday if they can get over the line.

The opposition comes in the shape of Dunderry, a familiar rival with the teams having crossed swords in last year's championship.

The game is scheduled to get under way @ 11:15 on Sunday morning in Boardsmill.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://member.clubspot.app/club/meath-gaa/events/4385

As always, we encourage everyone to come out and support the boys.
